Special Events

One of the ways you can get involved with the Boys and Girls Club of Central Virginia is participate in a Special Event. Descriptions about these events are listed here. Those listed below are some of our annual fundraisers; we hope you will consider being a part of one or more of our events as an event-day volunteer or as a committee volunteer who assists with planning of the event. Groups of volunteers are always welcome and needed on or the day before these large events.

• Madison Night at the Derby 
• Orange Summer Gala 
• The Cycling Challenge

All of our events involve many dedicated helpers donating their time, talents and resources.  We thank these generous folks and appreciate their enthusiasm, hard work and commitment to the kids in our Clubs.

If you are a company or another organization and would like to host a walk, benefit or golf tournament, you can have fun and help the Clubs at the same time! For more information, please read our Third Party Special Events Guidelines and submit the Special Event Proposal Form to our office.
